Below are prayers from the Book of Common Prayer that i thought were meaningful. Pray these throughout this week of renewal.
27. For Social Justice
Grant, O God, that your holy and life‑giving Spirit may so move every human heart [and especially the hearts of the people of this land], that barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
54. For those we Love
Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never‑failing care and love, for this life and the life to come, knowing that thou art doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
